Written by Mayka Lintongan, RN

Director Abdullah B. Dumama, Jr.Last March 12, 2012, a tribute ceremony was given to our dear Regional Director Abdullah B. Dumama. The outgoing Regional Director of CHD-12 will be the new Regional Director of CHD-XI Davao City. RD Dumama has been a good leader of this Office for almost 6 years. With that short period of time, not only he had amazingly transformed the office but also had touched the lives of others. The tribute was a 2-part program, the first was held at Montañer Hall wherein almost everybody was moved into tears as they tell their memories with the Regional Director. Every unit gave their wishes and souvenirs for RD Dumama, some laughed, some cried. When RD Dumama gave his speech, he stops everytime he feels like crying. Everybody was teary eyed, even men can’t held their emotions for RD was really a man, a leader with a heart. His daughter was present and also gave her speech, thanking everybody for the wonderful treatment DOH-CHD 12 staff gave to her father. The event was incomplete without picture taking. Of course, those smiles and poses will be cherished forever. The program ended with a song coming from all the staff for RD.
